Roles and Responsibilities

To manage and lead overall plant operations ( tendum extrusion lamination, Solvent Based lamination, Solvent Free lamination, Rotogravure Printing, Slitting’s, Packaging Etcc ),ensuring the achievement of plant targets for Safety, Quality, Service and Cost. This will be executed through providing strong leadership to the plant team and managing the systems, equipment, people and materials according to the established policies, procedures, specifications, and customer requirements. This individual reports directly to the Director-Manufacturing. Manager role is a small to medium sized facility with typically 50-100 or less employees and low to mid-level complexity.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Leads and drives plant safety culture and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
  • Leads identification of opportunities and problem areas for targeted improvement by creating, reviewing and monitoring data or reports that show performance to KPI's. (specifically, safety, quality, waste, and productivity)
  • Oversees all aspects of human capital planning & management for the facility, including HC goal setting, improvement targets for KPI's, salary planning, performance management.
  • Attract, hire, develop direct reports and create strong succession plans
  • Ensure compliance with department safety, product safety, fire protection, Company polices/procedures, and housekeeping programs.
  • Ensures effective, timely and well-developed communications for all product associates.
  • Manage process control initiatives by ensuring manufacturing SOP's exist, and that they are sufficient for quality, safety, and process control.
  • Leads plant budgeting processes
  • Ensures execution of plant Cap-Ex

Job Description

1. Pre-sales support which include handling Existing customer as well new marketing customer

  • 1. Handling Key Sales Account
  • 2. Getting Schedules, Projection from existing customer by sending emails &making phone calls, Sending Rate & quotations, maintaining records of input papers received from customer, keeping close watch on bookings.
  • 3. Completing Vendor registration formalities. Creating Customer master in SAP
  • 4. Sending Proforma Invoice, getting advance payment.
  • 5. Catering to sudden urgent schedules/ requirements of our Prime Customers

2. Order Execution

  • 1. Preparing Product Questioners & maintaining Records of the same.
  • 2. Punching Sales order in SAP, informing plant through Email phone calls.
  • 3. Daily discussion with Production & Sales Team regarding order execution & dispatch dates.
  • 4. Informing dispatch dates to customer. Sending Pre Intimation before dispatch.

3. Delivery of Material

  • 1. Giving Dispatch clearances. Keeping close watch on daily dispatches.
  • 2. Getting freight cost from Stores, forwarding the same to customers for approval, negotiating with stores/transport on freight cost on behalf of customer, for sake of customer service. Trying to save cost of freight for customer by clubbing dispatches (for similar locations customer).
  • 3 . Ensuring that dispatches are happening as per given clearances. Informing customer regarding any delay of delivery
  • 4. Intimating customer regarding dispatch of material by sending Invoice.
  • 5. Tracking delivery status of part load material by own or by instructing stores

4. MIS

  • 1. Preparing & maintaining NRV Projection sheet.
  • 2. Checking & Publishing NRV report
  • 3. Preparing various sales reports for HOD & Sales Review Meeting
  • 4. Maintain Order Bookings register.

5. Marketing

  • 1. Occasionally handling India mart phone calls, forwarding relevant calls to Marketing team.
  • 2. Helping Marketing team in Monitor and Maintain Lead Data through Digital marketing.
  • 3. Initiating Monday morning meeting for sales & marketing, making MOM & forwarding, taking follow up respective Marketing owners for completing their tasks mentioned in MOM.

5. ISO

  • 1. Maintaining complaint Register.
  • 2. Maintaining Sales ISO objectives data.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales from Existing Customer ECEP.
  • Pre-sales support to customers which include giving knowledge of company products, handling queries of sales Customer.
  • Optimum use of SAP BY TEAM.
  • ISO related works allocated to her.
  • Error-free Sales Order Punching in SAP.
  • Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Taking regular feedback from the customers for service after sales support.

  • Set-up Adhesive Laminator which includes adjusting speed, tension, and applying adhesive to the correct substrates following written procedures and instructions.
  • Ensure correct stock of Inks and adhesive, determine final testing of adhesion quality and Print Quality.
  • Responsible for making quality related decisions utilizing product specification testing.
  • Oversee the Helpers mix adhesive / ink and monitor the same to maintain quality
  • Provide training to Adhesive Laminator Helpers and Printing Helpers as required.
  • Prepare the machines for the succeeding run by performing line clearance procedures.
  • Responsible for making time and quantity entries into the log book.
